US Assets Recovery (USAR) is a U.S. owned and operated company specializing in the recovery and refining of precious metals and manufacture of catalysts and specialized components for industry. We deliver tradeable Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium, Gold and Silver in a range of pure elemental metals and alloy forms. We provide services to companies that rely on precious metals to operate at peak efficiency, helping them regain control of their valuable assets.
Recovery
USAR accepts precious metal materials in various forms, including spent catalysts, sweeps, filtration media, battery components, and residues. We employ controlled processes to consolidate the recoverable Platinum Group Metals and prepare these lots for elemental Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium, Gold, and Silver. USAR conducts this recovery both at our manufacturing facility in Joplin, Missouri, and at client sites for recoveries from heat train components and process equipment.
Refining
USAR produces precious metals with a purity exceeding 99.95%. Our refining processes include Hydro Chemical Refining, Pyrolytic Refining, and Electrorefining, which are selected based on the physical and elemental composition of the incoming materials. USAR returns recycled precious metals either as manufactured products or by electronically crediting the corresponding metal to client pool accounts. The terms for returning the recycled, 99.95% pure metals vary depending on the form of the incoming PGM recovery.
Manufacturing
USAR is a producer of catalysts for the ammonia oxidation process used in the manufacture of nitric acid, as well as in the production of nitrogen fertilizers and components for plastics manufacturing. Additionally, USAR specializes in tooling and parts manufacturing for precious metal components utilized in the glass industry. We produce wire for catalysts and various industrial applications, including sensors and winding wire. USAR does not employ subcontractors for any catalyst or tooling or refining applications; all work is 100% manufactured in-house by USAR.
